The Last Guardian
Fumito Ueda’s games have always explored the relationships between its central characters with a focus on word-less communication. The Last Guardian takes this a step further, as players control a young boy working in conjunction with a large creature named Trico to survive. Taking place across numerous platforming sections with a muted, medieval fantasy aesthetic, The Last Guardian is imperfect. However, it’s various elements coalesce into an unforgettable tale.
