#23. DETROIT: BECOME HUMAN

Speaking of interactive narratives- how can one possibly talk about the genre and not immediately think of Quantic Dream? They took the industry by storm in the PS3 era with Heavy Rain, and while Detroit: Become Human didn’t have that same impact, it was still yet another example of just with this developer is capable of. Detroit: Become Human may have been clumsy in how it handled its themes, but it told a dramatic story through likeable and excellently acted characters, and it told it very well. The weaving and intertwining stories of Kara, Connor, and Marcus had their ups and downs, but the net result was definitely positive.
