The interactive drama genre has made some major strides forward in recent years, and while games such as Telltale’s The Walking Dead and Life is Strange are surely among the best this genre has had to offer, another game that deserves to be mentioned in the same breath is Until Dawn. Supermassive Games were a relatively unknown quantity up until 2015, but with Until Dawn, they finally had their time to shine. With its classic horror, excellent production values, and stunning visual fidelity thanks to the Decima Engine, Until Dawn was definitely a showcase. If you enjoy horror, or interactive narratives, or both, do yourself a favour and don’t skip this one.
