Geralt’s traipse across the world, venturing from the dingy swamps of Velen to the majestic streets of Novigrad and eventually winding up in wintery Skellige, still resonates with us. You could credit the enormity of The Witcher 3’s world and the sheer narrative brilliance of its many quests. You could bag on the iffy combat and character customization. At the end of the day, The Witcher 3 is a fine open world action RPG and one that will remain relevant for a long time, especially in this age of triple-A releases.
