Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
Epic Games sold off the Gears of War IP to Microsoft with The Coalition taking over development duties for games going forward. The decision was made to remake the first Gears of War, which isn’t a bad idea for breaking the developer into the franchise for the first time. That being said, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition offered some stellar visuals, highlighting the brilliance of the original’s set pieces while retaining Dom’s idiotic AI. Multiplayer is more or less a wash but Gears of War: Ultimate Edition stands strong with its campaign.
