THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK BETWEEN WORLDS

The Legend of Zelda franchise had strayed from its “true path” recently. Ever since the Ocarina of Time days, there had been no Zelda game that truly captured what the franchise was all about- true freedom to play the game however you wished. Sure, Wind Waker and Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess were all great additions, but they lacked that feeling of freedom. With A Link Between Worlds, Nintendo brought that freedom back. In fact, they took a shitload of it and shoved it down our throats. With impeccable dungeon design, incredible freedom, excellent gameplay and a sort of addictiveness that is almost unexplainable, not to mention the droves of nostalgia it provides and revels in, A Link Between Worlds is not only one of the best games of 2013, but also the best Zelda game to have come out in recent years.
