Ruiner didn’t receive glowing reviews at launch, and compared to some of the other games in this feature, it isn’t exactly a critical darling- but as those who’ve played it would tell you, it’s a game that’s worth checking out. Its combat is thrilling and fast-paced, and every encounter feels like a deadly dance. The cyberpunk setting the game is set in is a solid one as well, if not particularly outstanding. If you’re looking for a Hotline Miami-esque experience in a futuristic setting, look no further than Ruiner.
