2016’s Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is, in many ways, a step back from its predecessor, owing to how abruptly it ends and how (relatively) shorter it is, but on its own merits, its still an excellent game. With a world that’s begging to be explored, mechanics that have been refined to a zenith, and narrative choices that build on Human Revolution’s strengths, Mankind Divided is almost a must-play for fans of RPGs and for fans of cyberpunk settings.
