There is a reason why developers and directors take their own sweet time in designing and going back to the drawing board over and over again while the fans complain, because most of the developers genuinely want to give out a good product. In Final Fantasy Advent Children, the concept for the title was completely different than what we see today. In fact its character was overturned, when they looked \really awful and it was back to the drawing board.
