Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
Just what is Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture? We could tell you a few rudimentary things about The Chinese Room’s upcoming adventure including some story details. But really, there’s very little known about what you do in the game as there is about its ultimate objective. For now, none of that matters since the development team is in the alpha stage and the game already looks drop-dead gorgeous.
Suffice to say, there will be more polishing and improvement of the visuals but there’s almost a The Vanishing of Ethan Carter ambience to the visual style. That’s not necessarily a bad thing either since it means an almost ethereal atmosphere mixed with photo-realistic foliage and buildings. Hopefully, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will be out this year because it’s one of the few PS4 indie exclusives we can’t wait to play.
