Halo 5: Guardians

Love it, hate it or criticize its multiplayer for a more pro-gamer approach (you know who you are), what little glimpse we’ve had of Halo 5: Guardians’ visuals had us sold. The sheer number of lighting sources, the enhanced character models and the amount of detail in environments now is amazing. It truly makes us wonder whether 343 Industries can carry over this level of detail into the open world environments that Halo has been most famous for (Halo 4 sort of counts).

We’re still curious about how the frame rate will play out in the single-player, not to mention whether 343 Industries has everything under control following the launch debacle of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Overall, keep your hopes up for Halo 5: Guardians especially in the visuals department but wait for gameplay impressions on launch day.
