Just Cause 3
Avalanche Studios released a bunch of screenshots for the upcoming Just Cause 3 and they look mighty pretty. Granted, screenshots are no longer the best indicator for how well a game will run – just ask any major AAA launch in this quarter.
However, we have faith in Avalanche to deliver a compelling experience with Just Cause 3 simply because it did the same in Just Cause 2 out of nowhere. What was originally a better than average open world action shooter became a hijinks filled caper with grappling hooks, jet-rodeoing and other shenanigans. Combine that with the power of current gen consoles and who wouldn’t be excited for Just Case 3?
We’re somewhat bummed that the game won’t have multiplayer at launch but if the developer can deliver a strong single-player campaign out of the box, it will be more than enough to start off with.
