The Division

Tom Clancy's The Division

This is yet another title that has fallen under scrutiny thanks to Ubisoft’s screw-ups this year. It’s even more damning when you consider that Ivory Tower’s The Crew, another massively multiplayer online game, still has its fair share of network issues and bugs.

Tom Clancy’s The Division has been delayed by a good year from its original release date though so Ubisoft isn’t completely oblivious to the amount of work it needs. Assuming it releases without any major issues, it looks like it could upstage the likes of Bungie’s Destiny in terms of scale and missions. The visuals are genuinely appealing with real-time weather effects and the decay of surroundings. Though gunplay has never been Ubisoft’s strong suit, it looks fairly solid here and there’s enough customization for characters to go around.

Regardless, we’ll wait and see just what Massive Entertainment is capable of in 2015.
