Triad Wars
United Front Games’ Triad Wars was expected to be the sequel to its hit open world action adventure Sleeping Dogs. It was later revealed to be a spin-off that combined MMORPG and strategy elements to allow players to rise to the top of the Triad underworld and become Kingpin.
We won’t pick up where Wei Shen last left off sadly but imagine exploring the criminal underworld and competing with other living players for supremacy. Would it be too much to have the ability to join the police as well, perhaps serving as an informant like Shen and completing different kinds of missions for different bonuses, all while your allies wonder if you’re loyal or not?
The potential is huge for Triad Wars. Now we just need to wait and see how United Front delivers on it.
