Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
No, it’s not Saints Row 5. It’s probably not as expansive as Saints Row The Third or Saints Row IV but it doesn’t try to be. Volition is pushing forth something brand new with Gat Out of Hell as it takes up a hellish tone and incorporates all manner of demonic weapons and missions.
When the President of the United States is kidnapped by Satan to become the latter’s bride, it’s up to Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington to rescue him. This involves travelling to Hell of course and battling legions of demons. You’ll have a bunch of new weapons to use including swords, guns that shoot locusts, a recliner with gatling guns and even an ability that gives you demon wings to fly with.
The standalone expansion also supports a co-op mode, letting a second player join in and enjoy the fun. So while it may not be the next big Saints Row, it will be a welcome diversion for those simply craving more content featuring the Third Street Saints.
