Wreckfest

Developers: Bugbear Entertainment
Publisher: Bugbear Entertainment

Wreckfest is an upcoming racing title that is developed by Bugbear Entertainment, a team that has brought out a similar video game series known as FlatOut. This upcoming title is a spiritual successor for FlatOut with several game modes. Racing style modes similar to Need for Speed or a more traditional racer Gran Turismo will be present but there will be the chaotic demolition style modes into the mix as well. Interestingly enough, Wreckfest almost never came to be with a failed Kickstarter initially present to raise funds for the development of the game.

Instead of giving up on the project, Bugbear Entertainment decided it would be best to release a playable technology sneak peek of Wreckfest. This ultimately lead to an overwhelming response with gamers making pre-orders, so much so that the development team was able to go on with the full development.
