A Hat in Time

Developer: Gears for Breakfast
Publisher: Gears for Breakfast

Oh the days of the Nintendo 64. We had several fun platform based video games such as Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64 that sent players out into the world collecting a series of items. Gears for Breakfast, developer for A Hat in Time, is looking to bring back those glory days of the platform genre. A Hat in Time, as mentioned, goes back to the roots of older video game titles in which players will be collecting a number of different objects.

This is all done by a character known as Hat Kid, a young girl that has the power of interstellar travel but alas her time pieces that controls the world of time and space has been scattered all through the world. Before any harm is done, Hat Kid must travel and collect each and every piece! There’s certainly a big call for the release of A Hat in Time with the initial Kickstarter campaign receiving double the pledge goal in just two days. Furthermore, if A Hat in Time sounds like you’re type of video game, you’ll be pleased to know that the system requirements are rather low, making it playable on a wide range of PC’s.
