Friend Notifications

One feature missing from the PlayStation 4 that Microsoft does a good job with their console lineup is friend notifications. Not only do we want to see notifications when a friend comes online but we would like to see any notifications regarding friend activity. Instead of switching pages to locate any unread message or alert, the feature should be simplified via a single button press that will quickly jump to that specific notification on the screen. Let’s say your friend invites you to a game, then with a single button press we should hop right to that notification.
