Castlevania: Lord of Shadows 2:

So, this game’s not exactly about zombies. It’s about the undead, specifically Vampires, which you probably know because as gamers you weren’t born under a rock, you were born with a controller in your hand. While you’re clearly one of the many flavors of blood sucking, night dwelling nosferatu, plenty of your enemies are from the undead variety, most of which are coming to be spawned from one if not many other types of dead bodies.

Does a construct of deceased flesh, bone and muscle still count as a zombie? Sure, we think it’s safe to say so. If you’re not sure though, you can take the time and ask when you come across them. They’re a bit aggressive though, so you may want to make it simple for your undead enemies. One punch for ‘yes,’ and two for ‘no,’ should suffice. While you’re obviously playing as one of the undead creatures that has maintained both his dashing good looks and higher brain functions, there is no doubt going to be plenty of zombie slicing, bashing and slashing for you in this game. It’s currently scheduled for release in February 25, 2014 and if you enjoyed the two other Castlevania titles in this franchise, chances are you’ll find this game to be a real treat too.
