Torchlight 3

A new trailer is available for Echtra Games’ Torchlight 3, highlighting the new Sharpshooter class. An “elusive explorer” of sorts, the Sharpshooter is a ranged damage dealer, capable of wielding shotguns, bow and arrows, and rifles. She can also…summon ancient spirits? Whatever gets the job done, we suppose.

Formerly Torchlight Frontiers, the action RPG underwent a major revamp in January. Instead of being free-to-play, Torchlight 3 will be a full priced game without a real money store. The campaign has gone back to Acts with altered progression systems and the ability to play offline with zones now being private by default. It’s still possible to meet other players in towns by playing offline.

Torchlight 3 is currently set to release in Summer first for PC with a console release set for later. Echtra Games has also confirmed that there will be post-launch content so stay tuned for more details in the coming months. In the meantime, check out the development process for the Sharpshooter along with a breakdown of her abilities here.
