Sega and The Creative Assembly have confirmed a new release date for Total War: Warhammer 3 – it’s out on February 17th 2022. But more interesting is that along with Steam, it will also launch for Xbox Game Pass for PC on day one. This effectively marks the series’ debut on the service.
Total War: Warhammer 3 brings the attention to the Chaos Realms as the various Chaos Gods fight for control. Meanwhile, the Grand Kathay and Kislev fight against the onslaught of daemons while also colliding with each other for domination. Along with defending their home turf, players can also invade the Chaos Realms to retrieve useful artifacts, facing off in overwhelming Survival fights.
Though it will launch with a multitude of campaigns and offer significant replay value, Total War: Warhammer 3 will also receive “plenty” of post-launch add-ons and free updates. The Creative Assembly also promises a “few extra surprises” en route to launch. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
