Total War Warhammer

This has made me more excited than words can possibly express. The Creative Assembly have been on a roll recently, picking themselves up from the catastrophe that was Total War Rome II, and moving onto the stunning Alien Isolation and the equally stellar Total War Attila, both of which we loved.

Now, they’re taking a step into the much loved realm of high fantasy by tackling the master of war strategy, Warhammer. We’ve been hearing for a while now that this game was being developed, but now we know that the game will be coming to  PC, Mac and SteamOs and that it’s going to be “coming soon”.

The announcement trailer does a lovely job of concisely showing that the realms are in conflict, the Greenskin hordes on one side, the ranks of Undead on the other, Humanity battles for survival against both sides while the forces of Chaos ready themselves to strike.

I’m exceptionally excited for this title, and you should be too. It’s early days, but it’s still Warhammer, and that’s never bad.
