Treyarch Releases New Call of Duty Black Ops 2 DLC Teaser

A cryptic look at the upcoming Black Ops 2 DLC

Posted By | On 07th, Aug. 2013

Treyarch, the developers behind many of the Call of Duty titles, released via Twitter and Vine a teaser for their upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC, entitled Origins. There is very little decipherable from the trailer, only the vague silhouettes of 4 distinct people, and some action scenes that end with what looks like a gigantic robot standing over one of them.

It is unknown whether Origins will be the name for the entire DLC or if it’s simply the name for this particular video, but what we do know if this: It looks cool as hell. Treyarch has already released three downloadable additions to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2: Revolution, Uprising and Vengeance, making this newest installment the fourth and presumably the final entry in the CODBO2 DLC catalogue.

It’s safe to assume that the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 expansions will cease to pop up, as the title is nine months old at this point, and a new Call of Duty sub-series, Ghosts, is slated for upcoming release.
