While Final Fantasy 7 Remake continues to grab all the headlines, it shouldn’t be forgotten that that’s not the only remake of a classic RPG that Square Enix are currently working on. Trials of Mana, the 3D remake of the 1995 title, is out in less than two months from now, and recently, Square released a new gameplay trailer for it.

Featuring multiple playable characters and a real-time action-based combat system, Trials of Mana follows a similar gameplay structure to the game that it’s based on. The new gameplay trailer shows off some of the core gameplay aspects of the upcoming remake, showing various characters, how they fare and function in combat, their abilities, and more. Switching classes, chain abilities, and other mechanics – such as how the day/night cycle affects abilities in combat – are also given brief overviews. Take a look at all of it below.

Trials of Mana is due out for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 24.
