Trials of Mana

Square Enix has announced that its Trials of Mana remake will be releasing on April 24th 2020. It will be available for Nintendo Switch, PC and PlayStation 4. Check out the newest trailer below, which arrives before the start of the Tokyo Game Show next week.

Unlike the port of Seiken Densetsu 3 that was recently included with Collection of Mana, Trials of Mana is a full remake of the title. It sees six heroes joining together to save the world. Well, it’s a bit more complicated than that – the Mana Tree is withering, evil armies are trying to free the Benevodons, etc.

Regardless, the original game is one of the most well-regarded action RPGs of its generation. Trials of Mana carries over a lot of those features, allowing you to choose from six different main characters and allies. Depending on the characters and allies in your party, the story itself will change as well.
