Trine 4

Frozenbyte’s Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is trying to be a return to the kind of gameplay and style that made the series so beloved to begin with. And if you would like to see that gameplay in action for yourself, we have 11 minutes of gameplay footage showing some early game moments of the title for you to see below, courtesy of IGN.

This footage shows us some early alpha gameplay (so keep in mind it isn’t necessarily entirely representative of what the final game may look like), and also shows us an early boss battle. Which in turn means that if you don’t want spoilers, maybe don’t watch this footage.

Trine 4 is due out later this year, and the developers have stated that they want it to be the best game in the series. The game is due out this Fall, and if you want to get caught up on the series, Trine: Ultimate Collection, which features all four games, will come out later this year as well.
