Frozenbyte announced a few months back that they’d be returning to the Trine franchise with Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, and now, the sequel has been revealed in full thanks to an announcement trailer, which you can take a look at below.

Fans of the series will be glad to know that Trine 4 returns to its side-scrolling roots, promising the sort of gameplay that endeared the first two games to millions, and the lack of which made the third one a bit of a disappointment. There’s plenty of footage shown off, exhibiting a typically strong art style, along with setup for the game’s narrative, not to mention a nice tease for what might be one of the game’s bosses in the final few seconds. Check it out.

What’s more, the trailer also announces Trine: The Ultimate Collection, which will be compiling all four Trine games together. Both the collection and Trine 4 launch for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this Fall. Trine 4 can be purchased for $29.99, while the Collection is priced at $49.99, and will be available both digitally and physically.
