After a disappointing third entry and then a couple years of radio silence, Frozenbyte’s Trine series is back again, going back to its 2.5D sidescrolling roots with Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. With the game out now, they recently released a launch trailer to give us a brief look at everything we can expect from the game.

The trailer, which you can view below, showcases the beautiful art and visuals of Trine 4, while the co-op aspects, combat, puzzles, and platforming are all also on full display. Suffice it to say, fans of the first two games in the series will find plenty to like and be excited about here. Check it out below.

In our review of the game, we awarded Trine 4 an 8/10, calling it “an excellent co-op game” and praising it for its beautiful music and visual design, co-op gameplay, and freeform puzzles. Read our full review through here. For more information on the game, you can also check out our recent interview with the developers through here.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is out now for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
