Turok 2 Was in Development for Xbox 360 and PS3, Concept Art Revealed

Another week, another cancelled project.

A ton of concept art has been leaked for the cancelled Turok 2, a sequel to the 2008 reboot that released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Check it all out below.

Some of the environments, including the tall spires separated by a bridge in shambles and a run down satellite, look fairly nice. The various enemy and dinosaur types (THREE kinds of raptors) also look great. With such expansive environments and enemy types, could it have been an open world title? We’ll never know for sure now.

Turok 2 was seemingly meant to carry on the story from Propaganda Games’ reboot. The first game didn’t fare all that well commercially or critically, but seeing some of the concept art, it’s a shame that we never got to see the game take some kind of form before it was cancelled. What are your thoughts? Would you like to see Turok 2 revived for the next generation of consoles?
