UK Charts: Guild Wars 2 takes the pole position

Sleeping Dogs at no. 2.

Posted By | On 03rd, Sep. 2012

Sleeping Dogs from Square Enix and United Front Games has done incredibly well in the UK holding the top spot for two weeks, but Guild Wars 2 has overthrown it and is the new no. 1 for this week. That was pretty much expected considering it’s quite a good game like our review suggests.

FIFA 12 is out of the top 10 and that is again, understandable due FIFA 13 which will no doubt stay at no. 1 for a long time after it is released. New Super Mario Bros. 2 has taken the third position this week and is doing pretty average for a Mario Games. London 2012 and Lego Batman 2 take the no. 4 and no. 5 spot respectively.

“Guild Wars 2 is also the first PC-only release to reach No1 in the All Formats Chart since ‘Football Manager 2011’ back in November 2010,” reads the UKIE page.
