UK Game Charts: Prey Takes Top Spot, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Third

GTA 5 somehow in second place.

Posted By | On 15th, May. 2017

It’s been a good week in the UK for Arkane Studios’ Prey. After debuting on May 5th and ranking second in the UK game charts (as per Gfk Chart-Track), Prey managed to capture the top spot in its second week. This marks the first time since last year’s DOOM that a Bethesda-published title has captured the number 1 spot in the UK.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has since fallen to third place with Grand Theft Auto 5 somehow ending up in third. Blame all the new updates, events and content that Rockstar keep throwing into Grand Theft Auto Online.

FIFA 17 is in fourth place followed by Rocket League, Lego Worlds and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands has seen an incredibly stellar run this year and still hangs on at eighth place. Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild round out the top ten for this week.
