UK Game Charts: Resident Evil 7 Continues to Rule

Meanwhile, Hitman: The Complete First Season debuts.

Posted By | On 06th, Feb. 2017

Resident Evil 7, the first person sequel to Capcom’s celebrated franchise, maintained its top spot in the UK for the second week as per Gfk Chart-Track.

Second place went to Grand Theft Auto 5, which is not surprising considering the popularity of the game more than three years after release. FIFA 17 moved up to third place while Hitman: The Complete First Season – a physical retail version of the game’s Year One content – is in fourth place.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is in fifth place, Rocket League is in sixth and Battlefield 1 is in seventh place. Final Fantasy 15 re-debuted in the top ten at eighth place while WWE 2K17 was in ninth place. We’re not sure about the sudden resurgence of WWE 2K17’s popularity but it is Wrestlemania season. Mafia 3 rounds out the chart at tenth place.

What will the charts look like next week with Nioh debuting on February 7th and For Honor following on February 14th? Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
