Uncharted 4 New Update Fixes Multiplayer and HDR Issues

For people who wanted to try the game out with HDR, that is excellent news.

A new update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is now available on the PS4. Update 1.17 fixes, among many things, the issues found with the game’s implementation of HDR, which caused menu screens to lag at certain points.

The HDR fix is not the only thing that this patch brings to the table, however- it appears to be pretty extensive, and will seemingly fix multiple issues with the game, specifically with the multiplayer mode and te functionality found therein.

Uncharted 4 Update 1.17 – Multiplayer Changes

  • Fixed a profile issue causing users to lose their Trials & Ranked TDM progression
  • Fixed a Leaderboard issue where Classic Mode statistics counted to the regular TDM Leaderboards
  • Fixed an issue with being able to hear player’s microphones before a Ranked TDM match
  • Fixed an issue where the the HDR option could cause certain menu screens to become unresponsive
