Ballistic Moon’s Until Dawn remaster, based on Supermassive Games’ successful narrative horror, launches this Fall for PS5 and PC. A new trailer was released during today’s State of Play, offering a better look at the in-game visuals and their improvements. Check it out below, though be warned of story spoilers.
Developed on Unreal Engine 5, the trailer showcases impressive lighting, textures, environments, shadows and a much better frame rate. The character animations are also improved, with more contextual movement added. Some new features include a third-person camera, fresh collectibles to pursue and even some new interactions.
Ballistic Moon also promises overhauled sound effects, with Mark Korven (The Cube, The Witch) providing a brand-new soundtrack. We’ll need to see more extensive gameplay to see some of this in action, though, so stay tuned for more details.
A movie is also in the works with David F. Sandberg (Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation) directing, though Sony hasn’t provided any updates on the same.
