Until Dawn to be Penned by Hollywood Writers

Positive news.

Sony finally revealed Until Dawn–the PS Move-based horror game that was mysteriously revealed in a montage few years ago during the peripheral’s reveal.

One interesting thing to come out of Sony’s recently ongoing panel in NYC is that the game will be written by Indie horror movie writers who have a tremendous amount of experience between them. Larry Fessenden of The Last Winter fame, Graham Reznick of I Can See You, will be behind Until Dawn as well.

We also have the game length which is slated to be almost 7 hours long. Not bad for a Move game; it reminds me of Sorcery which was a bit repetitive but cool nonetheless.

PS Move was launched in 2009 and it seems like the peripheral has been forgotten by most considering the tepid amount of enthusiasm amongst people online. The software has dried up a bit too, being relegated to a side dish rather than the main course.

The game comes out next year, and if it’s anything like Sorcery–which was delayed a lot–its best not to expect much from it.
