After a long absence, Sega has brought back the beloved Valkyria series with Valkyria Revolution; unfortunately, the new game appears to be a misfire, and most series fans are lamenting the new direction that Sega has taken with the game, which may end up conclusively killing all interest in the franchise once and for all.
However, it’s not quite that bad, and some fans of the series may yet be able to wrest some enjoyment out of it.
