Riot Games’ Valorant has been out for more than a month with ranked play, referred to as Rated Mode, also being available. The free to play shooter has stayed true to having no loot boxes but there are still plenty of microtransactions to spend real money on. Case in point, tomorrow sees the addition of the first Ultra Edition skin bundle.

It’s called Elderflame and turns your weapons into miniature dragons. The bundle includes skins for four weapons and the knife. Here’s the kicker – it’ll cost 9900 Valorant Points which comes to about $95. For a skin bundle that’s just below the Exclusive tier, that’s still pretty expensive.

These are only cosmetic and don’t confer any gameplay-related benefits. Still, those wanting that extra bit of fashion will need to pay up. Currently, Valorant’s first episode “Ignition” is ongoing with Reyna, the newest Agent, being available from launch. The plan is to have six Agents released per year so expect news on the next one soon.
