Years after its last trailer, Paradox’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has finally received some new gameplay. It showcases the Phyre, the player character (also known as The Nomad) sneaking through a location to find a Nosferatu named Willem. Check it out below.

Though initially starting with some sneaking and feeding, it’s not long before the infiltration turns into a brawl. Phyre can slam enemies into walls, execute them and rely on fisticuffs to fend them off. One technique involves unleashing multiple punches at lightning-fast speed on a single brute.

By the time Phyre reaches Willem, seeking information on someone who sapped their power, players have a choice of dialogues on how to resolve the situation. If you try vague threats, he’ll grasp Phyre and use some strange scream, with the trailer cutting out before showing the result.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 launches in Fall for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out the different playstyles here and stay tuned for the next Dev Diary covering the World of Darkness setting.
