Dontnod Entertainment’s 2018 RPG Vampyr might not have been their best or most polished game, but it was very much a diamond in the rough, and had more than enough going for it to be able to amass a sizeable audience and fanbase.
Now, you can play the game on consoles once again (or for the first time, if you haven’t yet jumped it) with improved resolution and performance. Dontnod Entertainment recently took to Twitter via the game’s official page and announced that a new patch for it has now gone live, following which it runs at 1440p and 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Meanwhile, Xbox Series S and PS4 Pro players can enjoy the game at 1440p and 30 FPS, while Xbox One X will run the game at 1296p and 30 FPS.
Vampyr is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can read our review of the game through here.
Back in April 2019, publisher Focus Entertainment (known then as Focus Home Interactive) announced that the game had sold over 1 million units, and that the publisher and developer Dontnod Entertainment were going to collaborate on another new project. There have been no updates on that project since then.
