Velocity Ultra Available on Steam December 12

Vita exclusive shooter coming to PC.

Posted By | On 04th, Dec. 2013

Velocity Ultra, the PlayStation Vita exclusive remake of Velocity, will be releasing on Steam on December 12 for £6.99 / $9.99 / €8.99.

The game is a fast paced arcade shooter, which utilizes a novel teleportation element that adds an extra layer of depth to the title without slowing down the pace and adding a puzzle element to a genre that has traditionally been about shooting first, thinking later.

The game runs at a blistering 60 frames per second, and features a widely acclaimed electronic soundtrack, both of which can be viewed in the trailer above.

The PC port is being handled by Curve Studios, with Curve Digital, the indie outfit that brought us gems like Thomas Was Alone on consoles, publishing it.

In addition to featuring all the content that the Vita game had, it will feature fully customizable controls (of course) as well as full Steamworks support. Stay tuned for more coverage.
