Warframe The Sacrifice

It’s story time for Digital Extremes’ Warframe as the developer announced its next big cinematic quest, The Sacrifice, to be releasing in June. The newest teaser trailer doesn’t spoil much – it mostly features various players and their Warframes along with hours played. However, we do get a peak at Ballas, the antagonist in the quest, and who’s been a thorn in many a Tenno’s side lately.

To further generate intrigue, the teaser site for The Sacrifice can be interacted with for different voice lines. Clicking on Lua, a location in the game, will see Ballas proclaim, “Lua gives you strength.” He follows this up with, “But you cannot defy your creator” when clicking on his eyes. The teaser trailer also features a number of different coded messages, which you can learn more about here.

Expect to hear more about The Sacrifice at TennoCon 2018, Warframe’s annual event, along with more information on the next open world, the recently revealed Eidolon Warframe and much more. Hopefully, we’ll receive a more specific release date for The Sacrifice as well.
