Warface Beta Now Available for Xbox 360 Gold Subscribers

Crytek's free to play shooter premieres for consoles.

Crytek has been heavily focused on the next generation of CryEngine and Ryse: Son of Rome, but it’s still investing in its dark horse free to play shooter Warface. The beta is now available on Xbox 360 for Xbox Live Gold subscribers to test out and effectively murder each other in. Check out the announcement trailer above.

The beta will include two co-op modes, three competitive modes and a bundle of missions updated on a daily basis. Warface has been available on PC for some time now, especially in Russia where it has the biggest following, and the Xbox 360 beta will mark the series’ debut on consoles.

Will it be able to compete with current first person shooters for players’ attention, especially with Titanfall set to release in early April for the Xbox 360? We’ll soon find out – in the meantime, join the beta and let us know what you think in the comments below.
