Warframe Dev Teases Reworks For Atlas, Zephyr

Two of the more under-utilized Frames will be receiving some changes in the future.

Warframe Atlas

Digital Extremes’ Warframe is known for its build diversity and the amount of depth players can invest into their personal killing machines. However, as with any PvE experience, it’s not odd to see some Frames left by the wayside in favour of others. Zephyr, Atlas, Titania and so on come to mind. So it’s good news to hear that reworks are in development for Atlas and Zephyr.

The news was shared by lead designer GooseDE on Twitter who said that the rework for Zephyr was sent to code with a “bonus Atlas rework added” as well. He did clarify that changes wouldn’t be coming for Nyx, a relatively good but ultimately outclassed Frame.

Of course, time will tell whether these changes land with fans on the first go. Hydroid received significant reworks but required further tuning to meet expectations. Volt has been another target of tuning, especially with the discussion around the damage cap for Discharge. Stay tuned for more information on improvements to Atlas and Zephyr in the coming weeks though.
