The hype train for Digital Extremes’ next big Warframe update, Plains of Eidolon, is still rolling but it will have to wait for another week. On Twitter, community manager Rebecca Ford – who also voices the Lotus in-game – revealed that Plains of Eidolon would in fact not be coming this week.

Ford also noted that there would be no new devstream and that the team was “working like crazy.” Linking to a post on the official forums, Ford noted that the release date has been a hot subject for a while now.

“We had originally planned to ship this week but we’re giving ourselves more time to finish things. The question of ‘when’ does remain, and we’ll prepare you with information on that early next week!”

Which seems to indicate that Plains of Eidolon could ship sometime next month. It’s not the worst time to be honest especially given all the content that’s coming with the update like the new Glass Warframe, new stances, weapon creation, Focus rework and much more. Regardless, an update will be offered early next week so try to hang in there until then.
