Warframe Plains of Eidolon

We were quite impressed when Digital Extremes debuted its open world Plains of Eidolon update for its free to play action looter Warframe back in July. There’s been plenty of hype about the update ever since especially since it’s the first truly open world area for the game since it launched in 2013.

However, more information is on the way. Digital Extremes has confirmed that its development team will be showcasing new content on September 15th, 2 PM ET through its Devstream, which can be viewed on Twitch. It’s announced that new parts of the Plains will be showcased along with the newest upcoming Warframe (touted as the “glass” Warframe). An Eidolon, the big hulking creature seen in the initial reveal, will also apparently be present in a battle sequence.

There’s currently no time frame for Plains of Eidolon to release but the developer has maintained that it will be out in 2017. Perhaps this Devstream will bring us information about a release date. Stay tuned in the meantime.
