Free Riven mods will be given to players who purchased the Frame ahead of launch.
News on Warframe’s Plains of Eidolon, the huge open world update for the free to play shooter, continue to arrive. While Digital Extremes has pretty much said it will be out on PC before or after tomorrow’s devstream, there is one silver lining to the upcoming release. The new glass Warframe Gara will see her quest arrive alongside Plains of Eidolon and not be delayed after all.
Saya’s Vigil is the name of the quest and will offer Gara’s blueprint to craft (once you collect all her parts of course). Community manager Rebecca Ford noted that the quest is “beginner friendly” and for those who purchase Gara before release, they’ll receive a free Riven mod for their troubles.
Digital Extremes will host a devstream on October 13th at 2 PM ET. If Plains of Eidolon launches before the stream, you can expect gameplay from the update. But if it launches after the stream, then expect the developers to discuss the hefty patch notes. Either way, Plains of Eidolon is coming this week to Warframe.
