Fans of Digital Extremes’ Warframe have been on alert since Plains of Eidolon was first revealed at Tennocon in July. Recent updates have indicated that the new update is coming soon and that the entire development team is committed to bringing it out. However, a release date, much less a release window, has eluded fans for a while.
That may end soon though. Community manager Rebecca Ford, who also voices The Lotus, said that a roadmap would be revealed later today for Plains of Eidolon and that it would contain the “expected” release window.
Plains of Eidolon is no small update. It brings a huge open world space to Warframe for the first time, allowing players to roam freely on foot or in Archwings. They can take on sidequests, mine for materials, pick up bounties and battle against the new Eidolon.
That’s not taking the Focus rework, new glass Warframe, weapon crafting and more into consideration. Stay tuned for more information on the roadmap in the meantime.
