Developer Fatshark has announced two major new updates for co-op shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The two updates will be part of a bigger anniversary celebration for the game, which originally came out towards the end of 2022. Collectively, the two updates have been dubbed The Traitor Curse, and you can check out the trailer below.

The first update will bring with it a new zone and mission, taking players to the heart of the Moebian 6th operations to fight off hordes of enemies in Mercantile in The Carnival. The update will also give players the ability to inspect other players’ loadouts, and the Veteran class is getting an update to their Talent Tree, including the addition of Keystones.

While no solid release dates for the updates have been announced, the studio has stated that part one of the update will be released some time this month, with part 2 arriving some time in December.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide recently got an update that provided a major overhaul to how its progression system worked, introducing new Talent Trees for all four classes. The game is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Check out our review.
