Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader - Void Shadows

Announced at the recent Warhammer Skulls 2024 showcase, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will receive its first paid DLC, Void Shadows, on August 8th. Featuring a new story and party member – Death Cult assassin Kibellah – players will tackle the Genestealer Cult. Check out the teaser trailer below.

The Cult conducts nefarious acts on the player’s ship, infecting crew members for their own purposes. Naturally, the player has to stop them (and maybe romance Kibellah). Void Shadows promises 15 hours of new content with additional lore, quests and equipment. You can also recruit new crew members for the voidship and explore new locations.

It’s all integrated into the campaign and not a separate playthrough like some of Owlcat’s previous expansions, which is nice. The DLC is included with the Season Pass but can also be purchased separately. Stay tuned for more details when it goes live.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review of the launch version.
