Saber Interactive previously confirmed that the next patch for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 would focus on quality of life features and improvements instead of new content. Patch 9.0 is currently live, and as it turns out, the list is quite extensive.
The Datavault has new Ordeals for Siege Mode, a revamped rewards screen, and more, while the ground pound damage of the Chainsword and Power Sword has been increased. Melee weapons in PvE have been updated as well, with Fencing weapons offering the highest speed but lowest damage, Block weapons moving the slowest but hitting the hardest, and more.
Several balance adjustments were also made to different Bolt Rifles, Stalker Bolt Rifles, Bolt Carbines, Meltaguns, and much more. If that wasn’t enough, class perks like Winged Fury, Defense Mechanism and Hammer of Wrath have received reworks. Meanwhile, Act of Attrition and Smiting Angel deal more damage. Siege Mode has also seen extensive shop tweaks and buffs to Guardsman HP and damage.
